Fresh Off the Press in AJOG MFM: Marchand Institute’s New Meta-Analysis on Single- vs. Double-Layer Uterine Closure and Cesarean Scar Outcomes

Congratulations to our brilliant clinical researchers who presented three papers at the September 20-22th Annual Chapter Meeting of the Arizona American College of Surgeons Annual Meeting! We are extremely proud of our clinical researchers for their work. Presentations dealt with gynecologic surgery, including surgical techniques and appropriate patient counselling. Although we do not have video of the presentations, you can view the posters and information about them at our publications page.
About the Marchand Institute for Minimally Invasive Surgery
The Marchand Institute for Minimally Invasive Surgery is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit research and educational institution based in Mesa, Arizona (EIN 42-2857240). The Institute produces peer-reviewed systematic reviews and meta-analyses in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and women’s health, conducts FDA clinical trials, and trains surgeons through an SLS-accredited fellowship. All reviews are prospectively registered with PROSPERO, reported to PRISMA standards and appraised using the Cochrane RoB 2 tool.
