FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
MESA, Ariz. — January 7, 2022
Critically important research from the Marchand Institute on the COVID19 virus’s affect on pregnancy is now available online. We would like to applaud the compassionate decision to make the full-text version available to all, free of charge from Elsevier Publishing. Our findings include a statistically significant increase in preterm deliveries in pregnancies affected by COVID19. Also, our findings cement the previously reported data that the extremely high maternal death rates, specifically those seen in 2003 SARS and 2012 MERS pandemics, are not being seen in the COVID19 pandemic.
